Our furby is sick! Or high! (From looking at him, you would assume the latter.. god knows what he's up to at night..) Either way, he can't open his eyes more than this!
And just as Joakim was starting to like him and managed to make him dance on his own ("Hey furby! Can you dance?" In english, boy genious ;D). And now he just keeps saying that he can't play with him, cause "furby sick, does he need a blanket?" <- he picks up a thing or two after both parents have been through a horrible cold (me) and what was most likely food poisoning (Stian) :p
Anybody with first hand furby-healing-experience, huh? Tried resetting, no good :( |

I am making a slightly modified version of this for dinner. I hope it's good cause I'm starving. I put in real tuna, and did not use celery (evil evil evil), mushrooms, potato chips (wtf) and french fried onions (no idea what that is). Should be done in a couple of minutes.
Joakim is still home sick. Stian wanted bread and tuna salad for lunch so he got it.
Along with some cherry tomatoes, kiwi, carrot sticks and a mini kitkat bar to fill the gap ;)

Stian's lunchbox was made in a superhurry last night as Joakim (sick) woke up and blahblahblah long story short I just threw in what was closest and took an awful picture :P
Dinner leftovers, spaghetti w/pesto and garbanzo beans, waffles (coarse (seriously, is that the word for it??) and sugarless), tuna salad (homemade, yummy, but looks HORRIBLE in picture, haha) and grapes. None for Joakim obviously, as he is home sick.
Oh, and these arrived in the mail today, so whoo! Joakim's lunchbox is about to get even better ;)

Monday + today. Our fridge is seriously lacking. Monday is bread with "gräddost", cucumber and fish pudding (cold fish pudding, eewhh! But the kiddo loves it). Today is waffles (coarse waffles with practically no sugar, no butter and lots of fiber) with brown cheese, and more cucumber and fish pudding. Meh.
Stian has once again ditched us to go to Australia, so no lunch for him!
Joakim misses him. Sunday night, he didn't want to go to bed, he was abnormally fuzzy and I was starting to get annoyed. Instead, I asked him "do you perhaps feel a bit sad cause daddy's not here?". He looked at me and said "yes" and almost started crying, aw! Thankfully, it only takes a little talking about all the fun things daddy does and watch some koala and cangaroo-clips on youtube to make him happy again. And of course mention the fact that daddy is flying AND that he'll bring presents when he comes back home, hehe. This morning, the first thing he did when he opened his eyes was say "DADDY!?", then he sat up, said "daddy!?" again and kinda looked around as if expecting him to be hiding somewhere. Then he looks at me and says "nah! Just one, just one mommy", haha. |

Tomorrow's lunchboxes. I have nothing better to write about, bear with me :p
Two buns, one with brown cheese and one with tartex for Joakim. And diced honeydew melon and pineapple (he doesn't really like pineapple, but this one was so sweet I gave him a couple of pieces anyway). Also some star shaped cheese and some unsalted pistachio nuts. I am not sure if he likes the nuts, so not too many.
Stian gets two pizza rolls (again. I made a new batch. Joakim would love to get some as well, I almost feel bad that he won't. He'll get some when he gets home instead;)), diced honeydew melon, pineapple and pears, pistachio nuts, some chocolate (it's friday ;P), and some sugar peas.

Written sometime this morning and forgot to post :p
Today's lunchboxes:
A lot like yesterdays', hehe. Stian got the noodles that were leftover from yesterday and cucumber sticks, they both got pizza rolls (that I made yesterday, along with nan bread and homemade pesto! I spent most of the day between leaving Joakim and then picking him up again, in da kitchen!) and carrot stars and rutabaga (note to self: Joakim does not like rutabaga) flowers. I told Stian it's a good thing he's young at heart, as long as I'm going to make his lunches, I do love my cutters ;)
Off to the store to buy stuff for more pizza rolls, those things were delicious!! |

I made Stian buy a laptop lunchbox! Joakim brings a lunchbox to kindergarten, but just for breakfast (and what's left from breakfast, he gets with the fruit meal around two o'clock). Lunch is provided, AND he is a picky eater so it's limited what I can put in there anyway. I wanted to make real LUNCHboxes, so yes, I made Stian buy one. Not that he needed much persuasion, who'd say no to "if you buy one, I'll make you yummy lunches" :p
Anyway, it arrived today so I've filled it up for the first time!
Curry noodles ( Y U M ), salad (made from what was available in the fridge, so it's just salad, cucumber, maize/corn (which you can't see) and star shaped cheese, hehe), cherry tomatoes and some ..."kålrabi" to fill the remaining gap. The little box contains dressing. Joakim's box is boring, just two pieces of bread with caviar and fish pudding, cheese and cucumber. I'll do better tomorrow :p |

I've been home alone for a few hours, cause I was supposed to get crackin' on Joakim's sleeping bag (and I didn't much feel like going to Stian's parents' house...). Oh well, figured I should probably clean the fabric first, so I threw it in the washing machine and made cupcakes instead.
Only a few of them were lucky enough to get icing on top, cause that shit was THICK and I only have cheap plastic... icing bags? And they could NOT handle it so after it had fallen apart three times I thought fuck it and threw it all away :p They are really moist and yummy without the icing, a little better even, as I find the icing to be a bit too much. They just don't look as good ;) Joakim got to decide what should be on top when we were at the store yesterday. I was going for non stops, but he wanted those icky jelly things that I haven't eaten since my grandmother put it on everything cake-y when I was a little girl :p To top that, when they got home and he got to eat one, he REFUSED to eat the ones with icing and jelly things, haha :p
Then, as I was still alone, I started making Joakim's lunchbox for tomorrow.
Star cucumber, fish cakes and two buns with brown cheese.

Then I figured I'd make Stian some as well. He's lacking a lunch box and I am totally making him order a laptop lunchbox tonight so I can continue making him lunches, I like it :D
Three buns with nothing on them, a small contained with cucumber (star shaped, yes, hehe, I love my cutters!), a container with tuna salad and one with two cupcakes (not pictured).
I made the buns and the tuna salad today as well btw, hehe :D
I have spent the whole day inside! And the weather has been beautiful! Shame! I need to take a long walk tomorrow! And wtf the sun disappeared behind the hill just after 6pm!? When did THAT happen?? I am not ready for winter, no no no not at all :( |
